James Rausch is Managing Director and Head of Global TransactionBanking. Based in Toronto, he is also a member of the Capital Markets,Global Corporate Banking Operating Committee. As Head of GlobalTransaction Banking, James has end-to-end responsibility for the sales,service, and product delivery of Canadian dollar services to our financialinstitutions partners globally.

James is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in financial markets, including Powerex, Info wave Software, the Toronto StockExchange and Toronto Dominion Bank. His broad business experience includes transaction banking, client coverage, risk management, commodities trading and corporate finance. He joined RBC in 2014.James became a CFA charter holder in 1999. He also holds a MBA fromJoseph L. Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.James is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied PositivePsychology and Coaching Psychology and is involved in recruiting and mentoring new employees at RBC.

James has also completed several programs related to positive psychology, mindfulness and is trained as a professional coach. A committed diversity advocate. James chaired the RBC I&TS CanadaDiversity Leadership Council and is member of the Capital Markets PrideEmployee Resource Group. James is the past divisional co-chair of theRBC United Way Giving Campaign and participates as a board member on the Canada China Business Council (CCBC) and I Saved a Life Canada.He is a member of Bankers’ Association of Finance and Trade (BAFT)North American Council.
