Meet Our Keynote Speaker: Adam Goldenberg
We are thrilled to announce that Adam Goldenberg will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Gala Dinner, generously sponsored by TD. Adam will discuss the challenges of imposter syndrome faced by many queer professionals and share practical strategies for overcoming it, providing inspiration and actionable insights for attendees.
Adam Goldenberg is a partner at McCarthy Tétrault LLP in Toronto, with a trial, appellate, and arbitration practice focused on commercial disputes and public law, including regulatory and constitutional litigation. Adam has been counsel in numerous cases before the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as in the courts of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick, and the federal courts.
A champion for the 2SLGBTQI+ community, Adam regularly provides pro bono representation for individuals and public interest organizations. Since 2023, he has served as lead counsel for 2SLGBTQI+ organizations challenging restrictive laws in New Brunswick and Saskatchewan that limit the use of gender-diverse students’ chosen names and pronouns in schools. Adam’s dedication to advancing human rights has earned him the Meritorious Service Medal, the "Leader To Be Proud Of" Award from Start Proud, and a Visibility Award from the International Day of Pink.
Students attending the Gala Dinner will have the unique opportunity to connect with and learn from successful members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community excelling in various industries. For professionals, this event offers an invaluable chance to network with emerging leaders and rising stars as they continue to develop their careers.
This inspiring evening is not to be missed—join us as we celebrate community, achievement, and progress.
